Super Saturday Preview. Final Round Locked In. ⛳🔥
After two rounds, the stage is set for a big finish in the 2026 Club Championships. The top 8 in each grade will tee off from midday this Saturday.
Men’s A Grade
Jake Cini leads on 145 after rounds of 72 and 73. He holds a six shot buffer over Adam A’Vard on 151, with Liam Toole on 153. The pressure will be on the chasing group from the first hole.
Women’s A Grade
Karah Thomas leads on 173 after a superb second round 80. She takes an 11 shot lead into the final round. Karina Riddell sits second on 184, with Jo Hillen close behind on 185. The fight for the minor placings will be tight.
Men’s B Grade
Julian Day leads on 161. Alex Trowell and Anthony Tratt are three shots back on 164, with Graham Gallagher on 165. This grade remains wide open.
Women’s B Grade
Dianne Warden leads on 192, just one shot clear of Trish Leyden on 193. Anne Nelson sits on 198 and remains in contention.
Men’s C Grade
Brett Lee Conway leads on 174, with Michael Beeston only one shot back on 175. Gary McCall sits on 179. Expect movement here.
Women’s C Grade
Heather Tate leads on 209 and will look to finish strong in the final round.
A.G. Thomas Trophy Nett
Michael Beeston leads on 135. Gary McCall is two back on 137, with Jake Cini, Adam A’Vard and Phil Marshall on 139. One low nett round will decide it.
Senior Men Gross
Jake Cini also leads the Seniors on 145. Brad Billing and Scott Drummond sit on 158, with Glenn Murphy and Chris Hurwood close behind.

Michael claimed the Handicap Matchplay Summer Cup today with a 3 and 2 win over Tony Benstead.
After 30 years as a member, this is Michael’s first Board Event victory. A great reward for persistence and commitment to the club.
